Newspaper advertising space is a perishable physical print commodity. Page dummying, typesetting, aluminum plate imaging (CTP), and high-speed rotary press printing commence immediately after the 5:00 PM IST daily editorial cut-off. Once newspaper pages are scheduled or printed, physical print space cannot be reclaimed, repurposed, or resold.
Advertisements booked through https://bookads.vaartha.com are customized print reservations published in specified editions of Vaartha (Telugu Daily) or Swatantra Vaartha (Hindi Daily). By completing payment, the advertiser explicitly acknowledges and accepts that print inventory is scheduled under strict newspaper publication deadlines.
Once an advertisement has passed the standard editorial cut-off time (5:00 PM IST on the day prior to publication) or has entered plate making / printing, NO CANCELLATION, WITHDRAWAL, OR REFUND IS PERMITTED under any circumstances.
This applies to all Classified Text Ads, Classified Display Box Ads, Commercial Display Pages, Ear Panels, and Statutory Legal Notices.
If an advertiser wishes to cancel a confirmed booking prior to editorial layout, the following rules apply:
A complete 100% refund of the total amount paid (including GST) will be automatically processed back to the advertiser's original payment method under the following specific circumstances:
If an advertisement is rejected by the Vaartha Editorial Board for legal non-compliance, vulgarity, offensive material, trademark violation, or lack of mandatory court/notary documentation (and valid replacement documents are not provided).
In the rare event an approved advertisement is omitted from the newspaper print run due to technical press machinery breakdown, power grid failure, or force majeure, and the customer declines free rescheduling to the next morning.
If an advertiser's bank account or UPI was debited multiple times due to a payment gateway timeout for a single order reference.
If an insertion was booked for a specific tabloid pullout that undergoes an unscheduled emergency holiday closure declared by the district administration.
Refunds will strictly NOT be entertained in the following instances:
All approved refunds are initiated through our payment gateway partner (Razorpay) directly to the original source account (UPI / NetBanking / Debit Card / Credit Card).
* Note: Bank settlement timelines are governed by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) interbank clearing regulations. Cash refunds are strictly prohibited.
