Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or booking advertisements on https://bookads.vaartha.com (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, applicable laws of India, and editorial guidelines established by Vaartha Media Services Limited. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Advertisement Editorial & Legal Compliance

All advertisements submitted are subject to review and editorial approval by Vaartha before publication:

• Truth in Advertising: The advertiser warrants that all statements, claims, and representations made in the advertisement are true, factual, and compliant with the Consumer Protection Act and ASCI guidelines.
• Prohibited Content: Advertisements promoting illegal activities, derogatory, defamatory, communal, deceptive financial schemes, or content violating copyright/trademark laws will be rejected.
• Mandatory Documentation: Certain categories (such as Public Notices, Court Tenders, Name Change, Lost & Found, and Obituaries) require supporting legal documentation (police complaint copies, affidavits, advocate letters, death certificates) prior to approval.

3. Scheduling & Publication

Vaartha makes every commercial effort to publish approved advertisements on the requested publication date in the designated editions. However, due to unforeseen editorial emergencies, natural disasters, printing press breakdowns, or force majeure events, publication dates may be rescheduled to the earliest subsequent edition with notice to the advertiser.

4. Rates, Billing & Payment

All rates are calculated based on the tariff card for the selected edition, classification category, word count, or column-centimeter dimensions, plus applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST @ 18%). Full payment must be received prior to editorial scheduling.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Before Editorial Approval: Advertisements cancelled prior to editorial typesetting and approval are eligible for a refund minus payment gateway transaction charges.
• After Press Scheduling / Print: Once an advertisement has been approved, typeset, and scheduled on the printing plate or printed, no cancellation or refund is permissible.
• Editorial Rejection: In the event an advertisement is rejected by the editorial board due to non-compliance, a full refund will be processed back to the original payment source.

6. Indemnification

The advertiser agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vaartha Media Services Limited, its editors, directors, and staff against any claims, losses, liabilities, legal actions, or expenses arising from the publication of the advertisement content submitted by the advertiser.

7. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of advertisement bookings shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
